Returns for Physical Companion Items

Our Companion Items (such as tees, blankets, mugs, hoodies, caps and wall art) are made to order and shipped directly from our production partners.

If your item arrives damaged, misprinted or defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.

Because each item is created especially for you, we cannot accept returns for:

  • change of mind
  • choosing the wrong size
  • normal wear and tear

If you are unsure about sizing or materials, please reach out before ordering — we’re happy to help.

Return Shipping

If a return is approved due to damage or a production error, we will cover the return shipping or provide a replacement without requiring the item to be sent back.

For all other situations, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Digital Products

Digital items (such as Micro‑Guides and downloads) are delivered instantly and cannot be returned or refunded once accessed.

This approach is standard for digital goods and helps ensure Core Guide can continue offering accessible, affordable support.

2. Compassionate Consideration

We understand that emotional capacity can shift quickly, and that circumstances may change.

If, after purchasing Core Guide content, you find that:

  • The content feels overwhelming

  • You accessed it during acute distress

  • You purchased impulsively while struggling

  • The material is not appropriate for you at this time

…you are welcome to contact us within 7 days of purchase to request compassionate consideration.

Requests are reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis with care, discretion, and respect for your boundaries.

3. What Compassionate Consideration May Include

Depending on the situation, compassionate consideration may involve:

  • A full or partial refund

  • Store credit toward other Core Guide content

  • Guidance toward more suitable resources

  • The option to return at a later time

There is no requirement to disclose personal details, trauma history, or sensitive information.

4. How to Request Compassionate Consideration

To request support, please contact us at:

core.guide@mail.com

Include:

  • Your name

  • The content purchased

  • The date of purchase

  • A brief explanation (as much or as little as you feel comfortable sharing)

All requests are handled confidentially and with respect.

5. When Refunds May Not Be Available

Refunds may not be granted if:

  • The request is made significantly beyond the 7‑day window

  • There is evidence of repeated or intentional misuse of the policy

These boundaries help maintain fairness for all users and protect the sustainability of Core Guide.
